The PAINFUL Death Of The Forgotten Teenage Medieval Princess

The Wars of the Roses were an incredibly turbulent time in England as the House of York and the House of Lancaster fought for supremacy and the Crown. Edward IV is considered a winner of the conflict, as he managed to depose Henry VI. He was briefly taken off the throne, but he won it back and he was seen as a skilled military leader and commander. But to secure his future on the throne and his family’s legacy, he married Elizabeth Woodville and the couple would have a number of children. Elizabeth had already been married, but she was considered one of the most beautiful ladies in the whole of England, and she had many children with Edward IV who became incredibly influential and important. Two of her children would be known in history for the wrong reasons as the Princes in the Tower as they were allegedly murdered by their uncle Richard III. But the second daughter of Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville was a girl named Mary who there would have been great hopes for her to marry a European prince or a king to secure alliances. However she died at a very young age. But what is the story of the painful death of Mary of York?
