The ruin of the Medieval Castle of King John the blind of Bohemia | Freudenburg

Published
Welcome to yet another German castle! The ruins of the castle of Freudenburg are located at the edge of town. It was built in The fourteenth century by king John the blind of Bohemia. The castle has the peculiar shape of an isosceles triangle, not very common at all! The moat separating the castle from the town is huge and was dug straight into the rock. It’s always crazy to imagine the amount of work that went into constructing these majestic buildings. Thanks for watching!
