Scientifically Legitimate Religion and Spirituality. Is it possible?

Published
My ambition has always been to make sense out of religion, and after two decades of research I've concluded that there is serious legitimacy to religion and spirituality, but why isn't it taken seriously? Quite simply, religion has lost touch with observation. Mysticism is the only way that we can actually observe religion in an objective sense. By distancing themselves from mysticism, the major religions of the world have left themselves marooned with little to no real authority. To legitimize religion we have to do more than just reintroduce mysticism into religion, we have to find ways to effectively measure the effects of that mysticism and find ways to demonstrate the reality of a spiritual dimension by making predictions about observations in the real world.
