Castle ruin with mighty Renaissance bridge | Castle of Fère-en-Tardenois | The History Hikers

Published
Hello once again! After our quick detour to some Belgian castles, we’re back in Northern France. Today we visit the castle of Fère-en-Tardenois. Of course it was at one point owned by Louis of Orléans, because he seemed to own pretty much everything in this region. The castle was renovated in the Renaissance with a beautiful bridge and impressive tower design. Thanks for watching!
