Amerigo Vespucci was a bit of an enigma. He had 2 entire continents named after him, yet his voyages have some glaring inconsistencies. We look at some of those details, and see a copy of the original map that identified “America.” We look at actual contributions Amerigo did make, which helped make a more modern navigation possible for Europeans.
