“Women of the Book” exhibit reveals the lives of women from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment

Explore the Women of the Book collection, selections from which will be on display at the George Peabody Library’s exhibit gallery through January 2023. Though the voices of women are largely absent from traditional historical sources, the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries has acquired the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of rare books, manuscripts, and ephemera detailing the experiences of early modern women from the years 1450-1800.
